Ferrari has introduced its newest sports car, the 849 Testarossa Spider.

Milan, Italy, October 09, 2025 – Ferrari has revealed its latest sports car, the 849 Testarossa Spider, to international press and clients. This model replaces the SF90 Spider in the lineup and is a hybrid plug-in super sports berlinetta. It features three electric motors paired with a mid-rear twin-turbo V8 engine, producing a total of 1,050 horsepower—50 more than its predecessor.
The car is both an authentic coupé and an actual spider, thanks to Ferrari’s retractable hard top (RHT). This feature allows the driver to open and close the roof in just 14 seconds, even while driving at speeds of up to 45 km/h. It means that the car’s exceptional performance can be enjoyed in any conditions, even outdoors, enhancing the connection with the surroundings and intensifying the driving experience. To maximize comfort, a new system has been developed to minimize turbulence inside the cabin, featuring an innovative wind catcher positioned behind the seats.
The 849 Testarossa Spider stands at the pinnacle of Ferrari’s open-top sports car lineup. It boasts impressive performance and delivers an exhilarating driving experience, all without sacrificing ride comfort or interior elegance. Its design is both futuristic and deeply rooted in the brand’s history. This car is tailored for the most discerning clients who seek the very best that Ferrari has to offer.

The project referenced the SF90 Spider and focused on increasing power, tire grip, and responsiveness. It also aimed to improve the efficiency of the braking system and advance electronic controls through the Ferrari Integrated Vehicle Estimator (FIVE) digital system. These enhancements provide maximum driving thrills even for the most demanding drivers.
ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System)
The driver assistance systems have been integrated to enhance comfort and safety by intervening only in emergencies and in the least invasive manner possible, only when the driver needs it. These systems are fully configurable through the instrument cluster menus.
