Chandigarh University’s students will be graded with Harvard University students and get placements at top global firms.
BOSTON and CHANDIGARH, India, May 4, 2024 — Chandigarh University has made history by being the first Indian university to launch a collaborative business management program with Harvard University. The program aims to provide aspiring business students with international exposure and perspective. The Chancellor of Chandigarh University, Satnam Singh Sandhu, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kristen Maynard, Managing Director of Business Operations and Strategic Alliances at Harvard Business School (HBS) Online, based in the United States.
Chandigarh University students will be able to learn from Harvard University’s Business School faculty for a semester as part of an online MBA program collaboration. The Harvard faculty will provide course materials and other educational resources to Chandigarh University students during the semester.
Chandigarh University’s business management students will now be able to receive grades alongside Harvard University students and secure placements at top global firms.
Patrick Mullane, Executive Director of Harvard Business School Online, believes the collaboration between Harvard University and Chandigarh University for the Online MBA program will provide students with valuable skills to lead their businesses worldwide. To develop great leaders, the program will offer high-quality business education, including case learning and storytelling. This MoU will expand their network of Business School collaborations globally through online education and disseminate best practices in business management.
Chandigarh University and HBS Online have collaborated to offer top-tier online courses curated by HBS faculty, leading to career acceleration. Students can connect to a global community of online participants and exclusive networking opportunities worldwide that other institutions cannot access.
