Arvid Lindblad Ignites Delhi with F1 Fireworks at Red Bull Moto Jam

On Sunday, March 1, motorsport fans in India witnessed a spectacular moment as Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Formula One driver Arvid Lindblad took center stage at the second edition of Red Bull Moto Jam in Delhi NCR.
The event, held at the India Expo Centre in Noida, brought Formula One back to a region that once hosted three Grands Prix. Just a week before his F1 debut, Lindblad thrilled fans by driving Sebastian Vettel’s 2012 World Championship-winning RB8, wrapped in VCARB livery.

A Festival of Speed and Colour
Red Bull Moto Jam is more than just a motorsport showcase—it’s an immersive celebration of adrenaline and culture. This year, the RB8 carried forward a beloved tradition: releasing gulal (coloured powder) into the air to mark Holi, India’s festival of colours. The sight of an F1 car blending speed with cultural vibrancy created an unforgettable spectacle.
Adding to the excitement, former F1 driver Karun Chandhok returned to the Buddh International Circuit for a showcase run, marking the first time in 13 years that an F1 car roared down the iconic track.

A Global Lineup of Talent
The Moto Jam wasn’t just about Formula One. Fans were treated to jaw-dropping performances across motorsport disciplines:
- Abdo Feghali, Lebanese drifting champion
- Aras Gibieza, stunt biking specialist
- Abdulrahman AlGhamdi, global stunt athlete
- Roman Chirikov, motocross leader
- Sebastian Westberg and Vivian Ganther, freestyle motocross riders
Together, they created a festival atmosphere that blended speed, skill, and showmanship.

Arvid Lindblad’s Reflections
Speaking after the event, Lindblad shared his excitement:
“It was such a unique opportunity to be part of the Red Bull Moto Jam event and be able to drive an F1 car in India. Having the chance to be behind the wheel in this country was really special. From kicking off the weekend by visiting the historical India Gate in Delhi to seeing all the fans cheering for me during the exhibition, it was such a nice moment. I hope they had a great time. A huge thank you to everyone involved; there couldn’t have been a better way to kick off my F1 season before going to Melbourne next week.”

A Historic Return
With Lindblad’s run in Delhi and Chandhok’s showcase at Buddh International Circuit, Red Bull Moto Jam has reignited India’s passion for Formula One. For fans, it was not just a motorsport exhibition—it was a reminder of the country’s place on the global racing map.
