Panjab University Issues Clarification on Registered Graduate Enrolment for Senate Elections 2026

Chandigarh, India, February 4, 2026 — The Registrar of Panjab University has issued a clarification regarding the process of fresh enrolment for Registered Graduates in connection with the upcoming Senate Elections–2026.
According to the latest notice (No. 34/SEL), applicants applying for enrolment under the Registered Graduates’ constituency must ensure that their application forms are accompanied by copies of their Aadhaar or Voter ID card and degree certificate. These documents are mandatory to complete the registration process.
The University has further cautioned that incomplete applications will be summarily rejected without further notice.
This clarification follows the earlier notice issued on January 23, 2026, which outlined the procedure for fresh enrolment of Registered Graduates. The earlier communication and related attachments are available on the official Senate Elections portal.
The update was issued today (February 4, 2026) by Mr. Yajvender Pal Verma, Registrar-cum-Returning Officer, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
