WEF 2026: India Readies a Power-Packed Presence in Davos

India is preparing a strong and diverse representation at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026, to be held in Davos, Switzerland. With senior political leaders, top state heads, and more than 100 leading CEOs in attendance, India’s delegation reflects the country’s growing influence in global economic, political, and technological conversations.

Senior Union Ministers from India
At least four Union Cabinet Ministers are expected to represent the Government of India at WEF 2026:
- Ashwini Vaishnaw
- Shivraj Singh Chouhan
- Pralhad Joshi
- K Rammohan Naidu
While Mr. Naidu represents the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), the remaining ministers belong to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Chief Ministers Attending Davos
India’s federal diversity will be on display with six Chief Ministers attending the summit:
- Devendra Fadnavis
- N Chandrababu Naidu
- Himanta Biswa Sarma
- Mohan Yadav

Indian leaders are also scheduled to participate in key panel discussions, including one focused on “Can India become the world’s third-largest economy?”
