Innovation Meets Precision: G-SHOCK Introduces MT-G Watches Crafted by Humans and AI.
Casio introduces a new series of MTG featuring a newly developed structure that utilizes advanced materials and innovative technology.

DOVER, N.J., July 12, 2025 — Casio America, Inc. has introduced the MTGB4000, the latest model in its premium MT-G lineup. This timepiece is also the first G-SHOCK designed through a process that blends human creativity with generative AI technology. This launch signifies a new era of innovation in watchmaking, where advanced computational design merges with G-SHOCK’s renowned shock-resistant engineering.
Development started with initial sketches from G-SHOCK’s designers, which were then refined using AI to enhance their structural performance while maintaining the bold aesthetics of the MT-G line. The outcome is a timepiece that embodies a new balance of strength and elegance, pushing the boundaries of functional beauty by combining rugged durability with a sophisticated visual appeal.

Building on the signature construction of the MT-G line, the new launch combines the strength of metal and resin for a bold yet functional design. This model features an evolved Dual Core Guard structure with integrated band connection parts, allowing the frame to absorb external shocks and reducing the load on the inner case. This innovation enhances the shock resistance while giving the watch a striking and cohesive appearance.

The new timepieces are equipped with the following features:
- Triple G Resist Structure (shock-resistant)
- Centrifugal gravity resistance (vibration-resistant)
- 200-meter water resistance
- Tough Solar power
- Smartphone link
- Radio-controlled (Multi Band 6)
- Auto hand home position correction
- World time feature (27 cities)
- Stopwatch
- Countdown timer
- Alarm
- LED light (Super Illuminator)
CASIO’s G-SHOCK watch is celebrated for its durability, stemming from the vision of its developer, Mr. Ibe, to create a watch that never breaks. After testing over 200 handmade prototypes, the first G-SHOCK was launched in 1983 in Japan, earning its reputation as “the toughest watch of all time.”
Each G-SHOCK includes seven key features: electric shock resistance, gravity resistance, low-temperature resistance, vibration resistance, water resistance, shock resistance, and overall toughness. Equipped with advanced Casio technologies, these watches use urethane to protect internal components and suspend timekeeping modules to absorb shocks. The G-SHOCK has continued to evolve since its launch.”
