Discover the Charm of Baby Wild Animal Stamps from USPS

The United States Postal Service has unveiled a new series of stamps that pay homage to the enchanting nature of baby wild animals.

AURORA, Colo., June 1, 2025 — The United States Postal Service has announced the launch of a new collection of stamps titled “Baby Wild Animals,” which celebrates the captivating beauty of nature’s youngest inhabitants. This collection comprises ten whimsical and stylized illustrations meticulously designed to convey the universal joy these animals evoke, from forest habitats to the delivery of mail.

The inaugural day of issue for the Baby Wild Animals stamps occurred during the Rocky Mountain Stamp Show in Denver.

“The Baby Wild Animals stamps present a delightful representation of wildlife in its most tender form,” stated Lisa Bobb-Semple, Director of Stamp Services at the United States Postal Service. “There exists a universally heartwarming appeal associated with baby animals. This issuance effectively encapsulates the charm of young wildlife and brings it directly to consumers’ mailboxes.”

The collection of stamps features ten distinct designs, including a fox, owl, deer, seal, rabbit, raccoon, bear, skunk, bobcat, and chipmunk. Each design is characterized by clean lines, rich textures, and a warm, contemporary color palette consisting of rust orange, cornflower blue, pale ecru, and soft black.

The stamps were designed by Tracy Walker, whose distinctive style provides a whimsical and innovative perspective on the series. The booklet, containing a total of 20 stamps, was artfully produced under the direction of Greg Breeding, an art director with the United States Postal Service (USPS).

“The distinctive shapes and textures present in the stamp designs inspired us to develop a range of contemporary and appealing products, including notecards and bookmarks, which are directly influenced by the stamps themselves,” stated Bobb-Semple.

In addition to the stamp booklet, the United States Postal Service (USPS) will release a selection of notecards, first-day covers, and collectible items that feature this captivating artwork.

The Baby Wild Animals stamps will be issued as Forever stamps, maintaining a value equivalent to the current First-Class Mail 1-ounce rate.
