In a thrilling final, India showcased their dominance by defeating South Africa by nine wickets, claiming the prestigious title for the second consecutive year. Chasing a modest target of 83 runs set by South Africa, the Indian team executed their chase flawlessly, reaching an impressive 84 for 1 in just 11.2 overs, with a commanding 52 balls to spare.
Gongadi Trisha emerged as the match’s star, delivering a brilliant performance with an unbeaten 44 runs off 33 balls, displaying skill and poise at the crease. Sanika Chalke also played a crucial role, contributing an unbeaten 26 runs off 22 balls, helping steer the team towards victory with confidence and determination.
In an impressive display of skill, India chased a target of 84 runs, finishing at 84 for 1. Trisha led the charge with an outstanding unbeaten performance, scoring 44 runs, while Chalke contributed a solid 26.
South Africa, on the other hand, struggled significantly, being bowled out for just 82 runs. Van Voorst was the standout performer for South Africa, scoring 23 runs.
