With two decades of diverse experience working with esteemed brands, Miguel brings a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective that will be instrumental in redefining Bata’s creative vision. Miguel’s career highlights include co-founding the luxury brand 1CONCEPT, recognized for its bold aesthetics and featured in Vogue. Cultural icons such as Miley Cyrus and Rosalía have also celebrated the brand. Additionally, he has led footwear design and strategy at INDITEX for prominent labels like Lefties, Zara, and Pull&Bear. Miguel has a strong ability to create collections that resonate with consumers and deliver impactful campaigns, which aligns perfectly with Bata’s vision of providing stylish, accessible footwear for everyone.
As Chief Design Officer at Bata, Miguel will oversee the brand and its extensions, including Bata RedLabel and Bata Comfit. Based in Padova, Italy, he will lead a team of skilled designers, combining Bata’s heritage with modern design elements to ensure the brand stays inspiring and relevant for today’s consumers.
