DUBAI, UAE, December 13, 2024 — Huawei has announced the launch of the latest generation of its Mate series foldable smartphones, the HUAWEI Mate X6. This advanced device features substantial enhancements in display technology, camera capabilities, durability, and overall user experience. With the introduction of the HUAWEI Mate X6, the company establishes a new standard for innovation in the foldable smartphone sector, thereby setting a benchmark within the industry.

  • The camera design of the HUAWEI Mate X6’s Space-Age Orbit draws inspiration from planetary orbits, symbolizing the endless possibilities of the future.
  • The Huawei Mate X6 is equipped with a 6.45-inch OLED external display with a resolution of 2440×1080 pixels and a 7.93-inch internal screen with a remarkable resolution of 2440×2240 pixels. Utilizing Huawei’s X-True™ Display technology, this device provides users with an extraordinary and immersive visual experience.
  • The HUAWEI Mate X6 will be offered in three distinct colors: Nebula Gray, Nebula Red, and Black. Various accessories, including a rotatable stand protective case, will also be available.
  • The device incorporates Kunlun Glass 2nd Generation for the external screen, a carbon fiber inner screen plate, an advanced multi-dimensional hinge, and an aviation-grade aluminum middle frame to enhance its overall durability.
  • Applying innovative materials, including ultra-high thermal conductivity graphene and heat source separation technology, facilitates efficient cooling mechanisms, thereby increasing the heat dissipation area.
  • The HUAWEI Mate X6 also introduces advanced foldable photography capabilities through the Ultra Aperture XMAGE Camera system, which has been awarded the TÜV Color Accuracy and Stability Certificate. This recognition establishes a new standard within the foldable smartphone segment.
  • The Ultra Chroma Camera, which comprises 1.5 million spectral channels, significantly enhances color accuracy in image capture.
  • The sophisticated camera system features a 50 MP Ultra Aperture Camera with a physical aperture size of 10, a 40 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 48 MP telephoto micro camera equipped with 4X optical zoom and a 5 cm super macro mode.
