In his address, Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya remarked that Tech-Invent is one of the largest national-level technical festivals organized by any Indian university.
“Events of this nature, hosted by Chandigarh University, will be instrumental in shaping both your future and that of the nation. Such technical festivals promote interaction and collaboration, providing valuable insights into emerging trends across various fields,” he stated.
Satnam Singh Sandhu, a Member of the Rajya Sabha and Chancellor of Chandigarh University, stated, “Education encompasses three essential components: curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities. While each component is vital, co-curricular activities play a particularly significant role in shaping a student’s future. These activities facilitate hands-on engagement with projects and address real-world challenges, offering experiential learning opportunities that traditional classroom instruction may not provide. In contrast to theoretical knowledge, co-curricular pursuits enable students to confront practical challenges and apply their learning in tangible contexts.”
