Watch the U.S. Vice Presidential debate at the National Press Club on October 1, Tuesday.
Washington, DC, September 30, 2024 — The National Press Club will host a viewing party for the debate between Democratic candidate Tim Walz and Republican candidate JD Vance on Tuesday, October 1, starting at 9 p.m.
Club members and guests can view the debate on a large plasma screen in the Truman Lounge or the adjacent Reliable Source restaurant.
The restaurant will be open until 9:45 p.m., serving dinner and bar snacks.
Attend with your colleagues to experience the live exchange of ideas and policies. Throughout the evening, enjoy a variety of delicious snacks and beverages that are available for purchase.
The scheduled debate will be displayed on the club’s large screen, accompanied by high-fidelity audio, commencing at 9 p.m. Participating in a group setting to observe and deliberate may offer exposure to previously unexplored perspectives. Subsequently, an opportunity for social interaction will ensue, allowing for further dissection and analysis among the attendees.
The event is only open to club members and their accompanying guests.
