The Education Minister of India releases the UGC Compendium of Regulations (1957-2023).
New Delhi, India, September 4, 2024 — The Union Minister for Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, unveiled the UGC Compendium of Regulations (1957-2023) as a unified and dependable reference for all UGC rules. The presence of the Secretary of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, the Chairman of UGC, Vice-Chancellors, Nodal Officers, and other distinguished attendees graced the event.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has compiled a comprehensive Compendium encompassing all UGC Regulations, Rules, and Notifications from 1957 to 2023. This Compendium comprises 15 Rules, 87 Regulations, and 28 Notifications, covering a diverse array of topics such as:
