Chandigarh University Ranks 20th in NIRF 2024: Education Excellence

CHANDIGARH, India, Aug. 19, 2024 — Chandigarh University (CU) has improved its performance in the National Rankings released by the Ministry of Education in New Delhi. In the NIRF Rankings 2024, CU has jumped seven spots in the University category compared to last year’s rankings, placing it among India’s top 20 universities.

Chandigarh University has secured the 20th position among both Private and Government Universities in India in the NIRF Ranking 2024, showcasing its excellence in academics, placements, research, and innovation. Established in 2012, Chandigarh University has achieved this prestigious ranking within 12 years, placing it among India’s elite educational institutions such as IITs and IIMs.

Chandigarh University has achieved 1st place in Punjab and 7th place in North India in the Universities category of NIRF Rankings 2024 due to significant improvements in Education Outcomes, Outreach, and Inclusion parameters. The university has enhanced its ranking across various academic disciplines, establishing itself as one of the top universities in North India.
