New Delhi, August 10, 2024 — UGC India has announced the “Updated List” of “Defaulting Universities” that have failed to appoint Ombudsperson(s) as mandated by the University Grants Commission (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023.
While Panjab University Chandigarh has complied, Punjab Engineering College, Sector 12, Chandigarh, and National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Sector 26, Chandigarh, both categorized as “Deemed to be Universities,” stand out as Defaulters for their failure to fulfill this crucial obligation.
