Hyundai Motor Group and the University of Oxford have joined forces to create the Oxford-Hyundai Motor Group Foresight Centre at Oxford’s Saïd Business School. This center will study the Group’s long-term vision and strategic direction, focusing on shaping the future and identifying critical areas for addressing future geopolitical shifts and risks.
The collaboration aims to conduct research that advances progress for humanity and fosters discussions among government, academic, and industry experts to develop insights into future societal trends.
Professor Soumitra Dutta, Dean of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, which aligns with the school’s values and goals.
Gyun Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Hyundai Motor Group Business Intelligence Institute, emphasized the need for a long-term perspective to identify future trends, particularly in the evolving automotive industry. He expects the Foresight Centre to promote a comprehensive understanding of the future within organizations significantly.
Heung-Soo Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Hyundai Motor Group’s global strategy office, reaffirmed the Group’s commitment to proactively shaping a positive future for communities.
