Educational News: UGC India 4th Amendment and Panjab University Circular

New Delhi, June 20, 2024 — The University Grants Commission (UGC) India has instructed universities to implement the 4th Amendment of the University Grants Commission (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Other Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education) Regulations, 2024.

Meanwhile, Panjab University at Chandigarh has already embraced the UGC amendment. It did so yesterday with much fanfare.
