New Delhi, May 28, 2024—The University Grants Commission (UGC) of India has delisted Sangai International University, Churachandpur, Manipur, from its list of recognized universities under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. As a result, the University is not authorized to confer Degrees.
The UGC has advised the prospective students against enrolling in any programs offered by this University, effective from the date of the UGC’s public notice. Any degree issued by Sangai International University will not be recognized for higher education or employment due to the absence of the necessary UGC approval.
- It is crucial to note that any degree conferred by a University in India must bear the approval of the UGC. Without this vital endorsement, the degree would be deemed invalid.
