SINGAPORE, May 1, 2024 — India has made strides in its education system, with solid indicators pointing to notable efforts to enhance learning outcomes. Vantage Foundation acknowledges the crucial role of UNESCO in facilitating India’s transition towards a digitally empowered society, as demonstrated in the State of Education Report published by the UNESCO New Delhi Office.
Joyce Poan, Programme Specialist and Chief of Sector for Education at UNESCO New Delhi, has explained that their flagship report is not just a generic overview of education, but a comprehensive analysis of the Indian education system. It focuses on issues like technical and vocational education, climate education, and artificial intelligence in education, all of which are highly relevant to the Indian context. These reports, crafted in collaboration with Vantage, are a valuable resource for policymakers, providing them with updated information and ten specific recommendations tailored to India.
Vantage Foundation and UNESCO New Delhi have collaborated to promote educational excellence and societal progress. These initiatives are designed to inspire the next generation to achieve greater heights, not just in India but globally as well.
